Tile Installation Contractor in Dubai for Floors, Bathrooms and Wet Areas
Tile installation for Dubai villas, Marina and Downtown apartments, bathrooms, kitchens, terraces, pool surrounds and retail fit-outs. We prepare the substrate before laying: laser-checked screeds, primers, DM-spec waterproofing membranes, water tests, format-matched adhesives, movement joints for UAE temperature swings and a clean handover backed by a written workmanship guarantee.
Tile Types We Work With
From hardwearing porcelain to book-matched marble. We help you pick the right tile for each room based on use, light, substrate, and budget - before a single sheet is ordered.
The default choice for UAE floors - Marina apartment ensuites, JBR kitchen splashbacks, and Arabian Ranches courtyards alike. Low water absorption, heat-tolerant, dimensionally stable across the 21°C-to-50°C swing between AC interiors and unshaded balconies.
Cost-effective wall tiling for kitchens, splashbacks, and low-traffic interior spaces. Lighter and softer than porcelain, but unsuitable for heavy-traffic floors or outdoor use.
Carrara, Statuario, Calacatta, Nero Marquina and more. Honed or polished. Specified for Emirates Hills villa entrance halls, Palm Jumeirah master ensuites, and DIFC office lobbies. Sealed and crystallized for longevity.
Warm natural stone with characteristic pitting. Filled and honed for indoor use, or unfilled and brushed for outdoor terraces and pool surrounds. UV-stable, ages beautifully.
Extremely hard, dense, and scratch-resistant. Common for kitchen worktops, entrance thresholds, and heavy-traffic floors. Sealed for stain resistance.
Glass, stone, and ceramic mosaics for feature walls, shower niches, splashbacks, and pool waterlines. Mesh-backed sheets, applied with appropriate adhesive and sealed grout.
1200×2400 and larger porcelain slabs for the seamless, minimal-grout look used in Emirates Hills villa entrance halls and DIFC office lobbies. Requires polymer-modified adhesive, levelling clips, and trained installers - we handle all three.
R11 and R12-rated porcelain for Palm Jumeirah pool surrounds, Marina balconies, and villa terraces in Al Barsha and Mirdif. UV-stable, heat-stable, and dimensionally accurate when surface temperatures climb past 50°C in July.
From Stack-Bond to Large-Format
Pattern choice changes the feel of a room more than tile choice does. We set out every floor in CAD before tiling, so cuts land symmetrically and grout lines stay aligned with door openings, vanities, and feature walls.

Floors, Wet Areas, Marble & Mosaic

The work under the tile is where jobs are won or lost.
Tile failure in the UAE almost always traces to one of two things: the substrate wasn't ready, or the spec didn't account for thermal cycling. Air-conditioned interiors run at 21°C; an unshaded balcony or shop window hits 50°C+ in July. A typical living-room floor expands 5–7mm across that swing. Without anti-fracture membrane, properly sized movement joints, and the right adhesive class, tiles lift, grout cracks, and edges efflorescence.
A flat, sound, properly primed substrate is the single biggest factor in a tile job lasting 20 years instead of three. As a bathroom tile contractor in Dubai we coordinate the trades that come before the tiler: strip-out before tile installation, then plaster and screed preparation, so the surface is right before a single tile is laid. We never tile onto someone else's screed without checking it first - and we are happy to walk away from a job rather than tile over a substrate we don't believe in.
For wet areas, our waterproofing detail follows Dubai Municipality specification: a continuous cementitious or liquid-applied membrane, lapped up walls, dressed into drains, and reinforced with banding at corners and pipe penetrations. Where a bathroom retile involves moving fixtures, we sequence pipe installation for bathroom renovations before the membrane goes down. The membrane is water-tested before any tile is laid.
For large-format slabs, we use polymer-modified adhesive applied by both back-buttering the tile and notch-trowelling the substrate (full-bed), with levelling clips to eliminate lippage. Minimal grout lines require maximum prep.
Bathrooms, showers, kitchens, balconies, and pool surrounds are where any compromise on substrate prep, waterproofing, fall, or grout selection becomes visible - usually as efflorescence, lifting tiles, or a leak into the room below. We treat wet areas as their own discipline.
Why Our Tile Work Lasts
Direct accounts with leading porcelain, marble, and mosaic suppliers in the UAE - including European porcelain and book-matched Italian marble. Sample boards in your home before you commit.
Our tilers are on direct payroll, not day-labour. Trained on large-format, herringbone, mosaic, and stone polishing. The same crew finishes what they start.
Dubai Municipality-spec membranes, dressed into drains, lapped up walls, reinforced at penetrations, and water-tested before tiling. Non-negotiable on every wet area.
Silicone perimeter joints and intermediate field joints on every job - sized correctly for UAE temperature swings. We don't bury this detail.
Written workmanship warranty on every tile job. If a tile lifts, a grout line cracks, or a membrane fails through workmanship, we come back and fix it.
R10 for shower floors, R11 / R12 for pool decks and terraces. We don't fit a polished tile where you can slip on it.
Porcelain vs marble vs ceramic vs mosaic
A quick guide to how the common tile families compare on durability, cost and where each one earns its place in a Dubai home.
| Tile type | Durability | Supplied + fitted (AED/sqft) | Where it works best in UAE homes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Porcelain | Very high Low porosity, PEI IV–V | AED 35–90 | Floors, wet areas, high-traffic zones, outdoor-rated ranges for terraces |
| Natural marble | Medium Soft, needs sealing | AED 90–250 | Feature floors, lobbies and low-traffic luxury areas |
| Ceramic | Medium Glaze can chip | AED 15–55 | Walls and lighter-traffic floors where budget matters |
| Glass / stone mosaic | Medium–high Joint-heavy | AED 60–180 | Pool waterlines, feature walls, niches and borders |
Indicative pricing. Supply-and-fit tiling in Dubai typically runs AED 20–90 per sqft by material, with substrate prep and waterproofing quoted separately. Indicative starting ranges — your itemised quote is confirmed after a free site visit. Read the full civil works cost guide.
