We choose the system for the space: solvent-free epoxy for warehouses, workshops, plant rooms and F&B back-of-house, where you need a hard, chemical- and abrasion-resistant floor; and a polyurethane (PU) topcoat where the floor sees UV/sunlight or thermal movement — open car-park decks and ramps — because epoxy on its own can chalk or yellow in direct sun. The result is only as good as the preparation: we mechanically prepare the slab (diamond grinding or captive shot-blasting) to a sound, profiled surface and check slab moisture before coating.
